Basic Core Requirements for Health Professions
- General Requirements
- 1 year of General Chemistry with lab:
- Chem 102⁄103 & 104⁄105 OR
- Chem 202⁄203 & 204⁄205
- 1 year of Biology with labs (see options below)
- 1 year of Organic Chemistry with lab:
- Chem 232⁄233 OR Chem 236⁄237
- AND Chem 332 or Chem 436 and⁄or MCB 450 or MCB 354
- May also need Chem 437
- 1 year of Physics:
- Physics 101 and 102 OR
- Physics 211 and 212
- 1 year of English:
- Rhetoric⁄English⁄Communication
- ALSO
- Suggested Electives for Dentistry:
- Psychology
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Marketing
- Finance
- Accounting
- Minimum 90 hours
- Optometry Electives:
