A very special welcome to you and your student. The Career Center offers services throughout your student's academic career. This is a time when support from you, and our Center staff, can help your student maneuver through these issues and direct them to the many resources on campus.

The parent career network is a joint offering of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's The Career Center and the Illini Union Parent Programs Office. The goal of the group is to provide a space for parents to engage in networking conversations with each other as well as mentoring from The Career Center's and the Parent Programs Office staff on how to help students reach their professional goals.

Pre-Health Advising
Any student at UIUC regardless of major or college affiliation can complete course requirements necessary to apply to any of the health profession schools. Pre-Health (pre-med to those planning to go onto medical school), at the University of Illinois is not a special major, degree or a curriculum through which you will receive a degree.
Freshman Press
Addresses the concerns of first-year students and provides information pertinent to the issues of a new face on campus- what to do, where to go, what to consider. The Press is published nine times a semester
Parent Programs Office
The Illini Union provides support to Moms and Dads through the Parents Programs Office in a joint effort to improve the well-being of all students and provide resources for parents.
