Kenzler Memorial Fund

Bill Kenzler was a member of the professional staff at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1964 until 1993. He joined the staff of The Career Center as its Associate Director in 1977 and was a nationally recognized expert in the use and training of students as paraprofessionals.

In honor of Bill Kenzler’s 17-year commitment to training students in the Paraprofessional Career Consultants program (now Career Services Paraprofessionals), The Bill Kenzler Memorial Fund supports the salary for the student coordinator position. This position is responsible for coordinating all CSP events as well as providing leadership to the more than 20 CSPs working to provide peer resume and cover letter reviews, workshops, and campus outreach.

Under the leadership of the Coordinator, CSPs have a tremendous impact in educating their peers. Annually, CSP’s review thousands of resumes and cover letter and present hundreds of workshops to their peers.
