The John D. Shingleton Award is given for the best application of completed research that strengthens or enhances career services and recruitment practices. The Career Center received this award for our project titled Innovative Bridge Building – Design and Assessment of a Networking Program for Underrepresented Populations. This project evaluates the yearly Conexiones networking program.

The Hire Illini Data Dashboard (hireillini.com/student-enrollment-data) provides valuable, easy-to-use information about Illinois students that influecnes strategic talent acquisition decisions. Data is delivered to the fingertips of key decision makers in a dynamic and visually appealing way. Development of the dashboard was in direct response to a please from our Employer Advisory Board for data needed to support their recruitment decisions.
