A diverse group of five students gather in a loose circle for a discussion on a bright spring day along the balustrade in front of Foellinger Auditorium overlooking the Main Quad.

Exploring Pathways in Career Success (EPICS) began to serve University of Illinois first-year students in Fall 2005 as an essential component of the campus-wide University 101 initiative. With a sound grounding in career theory, EPICS helps students begin their self-exploration and identification of academic and work options.

EPICS includes five modules designed to introduce students to career milestones and early planning for academic and career success at the University of Illinois. At the end of each activity, students will receive personalized tips on additional resources.  Students may complete any or all of the five modules on their own or as part of a class assignment.

Students are always welcome to bring their EPICS results to appointments at The Career Center for further discussion.
