Pre-Law Students: The Pre-Law Advising Services provides personal statement reviews for students applying to Law School. Use link below. Please do not submit law school personal statements to The Career Center.

Submissions to The Career Center: After submitting your personal statement online to The Career Center, it will be assigned a reviewer who will provide feedback via email. You are welcome to schedule a follow-up appointment with your reviewer to discuss the feedback.  Our staff will not edit your statement; we will provide feedback on content and provide recommendations to strengthen your statement. If a prompt is provided, please include it at the top of your document or in the notes section when submitting your personal statement online.

  • One personal statement per semester
  • Your personal statement will be reviewed once
  • Average turnaround is 3-5 business days; though longer during peak application periods
  • You are welcome to schedule an appointment with the reviewer to clarify feedback
