Student Interview Room Request

Need a private space for an upcoming interview?

Noisy roommates? Cluttered bedroom? Loud construction outside your window?

We know it can be hard to find a quiet, professional environment for an interview, so The Career Center has made space for students to request the use of one of our rooms for virtual or phone interviews.

Available Hours- By Appointment Only

Tuesdays, 9 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4:30 p.m.
Wednesdays, 1 - 4:30 p.m.
Thursdays, 9 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4:30 p.m. 

During Fall and Spring Semesters while Classes are in Session

Closed during breaks/holidays.

Subject to scheduling availability and Career Center staff discretion.

Eligibility and Guidelines
  • Interview Room can be reserved by current students by request using the Room Request Form, which must be submitted at least 3 business days in advance of the desired reservation date.
  • Students will receive confirmation by email when their request has been approved (subject to room availability). The reservation is not finalized until you receive the confirmation.
  • Due to high demand, we strongly recommend that students provide alternate dates and submit the form early if possible.
  • The room may be used for virtual, phone, or in-person interviews of any type.

Room Details:

  • Capacity: 2 people
  • No technology provided- bring your own laptop/phone. Campus Wi-Fi is available.
  • Location: Interview Suite, 616 E. Green Street, Champaign (above McDonald's), Suite 213.
